The Educational forum “Critical Thinking in Higher Education: Whom and Why?”took place on the 30th of September. About 100 participants participated in the forum.The introduction was given by dr. Agnė Kudarauskienė  (Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania),prof. dr. Inga Žalėnienė (Rector of Mykolas Romeris University). The keynote „Critical Thinking in Higher Education: Whom and Why?” dr. Daiva Penkauskienė, (Associate Professor, Institute of Education and Social Work, Faculty of Human and Social Studies, Mykolas Romeris University). The announcement is based on the research “Critical Thinking in Higher Education: A Study and Labor Market Perspective”. Research team: assoc. prof. Violeta Jegelevičienė (project manager), prof. dr. Valdonė Indrašienė, assoc. prof. Daiva Penkauskienė, assoc. prof. Jolanta Pivorienė, prof. dr. Odeta Merfeldaitė, assoc. prof. Asta Railienė, doc. dr. Justinas Sadauskas, dr. Natalija Valavičienė. The research was funded by the European Social Fund under measure no. 09.3.3-LMTK712 activities “Improving the qualification of researchers by implementing high-level R&D projects”, grant agreement no. 09.3.3-LMT-K-712-01-006. In the discussion participated prof. dr. Natalija Mažeikienė (Professor, Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, Vytautas Magnus University), prof. dr. Kristupas Sabolius (Professor, Department of Continental Philosophy and Religious Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, Vilnius University), dr. Agnė Kudarauskienė (Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania), Aurelija Valeikienė  (Deputy director of the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education), Linas Leonas (Lecturer, Department of Health Psychology, Faculty of Public Health, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Chairman of the Study Evaluation Commission operating at Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education). Conclusion was given by prof. dr. Liudmila Rupšienė, (President of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association),  prof. dr. Loreta Žadeikaitė (Chief Adviser of the Department of Studies, Science and Technology in Ministry of Education, Science and Sports). The moderator of the forum prof. dr.
