On the 26th of May the 16th Educational Forum “Learning Beyond the Classroom: Spaces Enriching Education – Where Lies Success? ”.was held Over 50 participants attended the forum.  The keynote “Creating the Connection between Formal and Non-Formal Education: A New Conceptualization of the Learning Place” was presented by prof. dr. Natalija Mažeikienė (Professor of the Department of Social Work, Vytautas Magnus University, Research Manager of the EDUATOM project).

The discussion was attended by dr. Arvydas Girdzijauskas (Director of Klaipėda Vydūnas Gymnasium), Snieguolė Kavoliūnienė (Head of Vilnius Education Progress Center EDU VILNIUS project “Vilnius – Open School” (Bloomberg)), Aušra Birietienė (Chief Specialist of the Non-formal Education Division of the Lifelong Learning Department), assoc. prof.  Genovaitė Kynė (geography teacher expert, president of the Lithuanian Geographers’ Association), dr. Nijolė Putrienė (Head of the Teachers’ Activity Division of the Ministry of Education, Science,  and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania). The conclusion was presented by prof. dr. Liudmila Rupšienė (President of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association), prof. dr. Loreta Žadeikaitė (Chief Adviser of the Department of Studies, Science and Technology of Ministry of  Education, Science and Sports). The forum was moderated by assoc. prof. Ilona Tandzegolskienė (Vice-Chancellor of the Academy of Education of Vytautas Magnus University), doctoral student. Irena Raudienė (Head of the Basic and Secondary Education Division of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania). The forum was organized by the Lithuanian Educational Research Association, the Lithuanian Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, the Vytautas Magnus University.
