A brief summary is presented below:
The dissertation The Ways of Interpersonal Communication Between Primary School TeacherS and Students in Music Activities aims to theoretically and empirically reveal the ways of interpersonal communication between primary school teacherS and students in music activities, explaining how the process of interpersonal communication between primary school teacher and students takes place in the music classroom, and which interpersonal communication methods help the teacher to involve students in music activities. The qualitative study revealed that in music education, learning takes place in the form of communication between the primary music teacher and the pupils in the form of a dialogue, and that this process involves the construction of knowledge and the reconstruction of interpersonal relations. In the process of teacher-student interaction, information is encoded and reconstructed by means of interpersonal communication in accordance with the criteria of dialogic teaching. In a purposeful, dialogic educational process, music teachers encourage pupils to be involved and actively participate in the activities in every possible way.
