The World Educational Research Association (WERA) is an association of national, regional and international specialized research associations whose aim is to advance educational research as a field of science and progress. WERA was founded in 2009. April 18 San Diego, California. WERA members are committed to working together to address issues such as building research capacity, improving educational research policy and practice, and promoting the use and application of educational research worldwide.
Each year, WERA holds its main meeting in connection with the annual meeting of the WERA Member Association. The WERA2024 meeting is organized together with the British Research Association (BERA). The WERA2024 meeting will take place in Manchester, during the BERA2024 conference.
