On the 15 th of March, for the first time, Europe celebrated Music Day at a school initiated by Lithuania and organized by The European Association for Music in School (EAS). The creator of the event and the chair of the organizing committee – LERA member prof.dr. Rūta Girdzijauskienė. 20 European countries have joined the initiative. It has brought together more than 100 educational institutions in Lithuania: kindergartens, general education and art schools. While waiting for the celebration, the students shared virtual greetings, drew drawings, and discussed music. On the 15, of March they sang the song “Together” created by Belgian composer Bert Appermont, together with children from all over Europe.
