1. Presentations at the 6th Lithuanian Educational Research Association (LERA) scientific conference “EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE AND RESEARCH IN THE TURBULENT WORLD”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the University of Lithuania. III- th session of presentations. Prof. dr. Irena Leliūgienė. The Aspiration of the Education of Values and Ideals in the Public Speeches of the Rectors of the University of Lithuania in the Conditions of Military Threats and Political Conflicts in the Country in 1922-1940.
2. 2022.10.14. LETA Seniors’ Section discussion at the Alumni Association:
– Presentation by the Section leader R. Aleknaitė-Bieliauskienė on the activities of the Seniors’ Section.
– Presentation by the Rector prof. J. Aničs on the outstanding teachers of Pasvalys region.
– Prof. J. Uzdila. On the problems of publishing memories.
– Prof. R. Aleknaitė-Bieliauskienė. Problems of music education in the light of school reform.
– Discussion.
– Discussion of the LERA Seniors’ Section guidelines for 2022.
Five more meetings were held in 2022:
– 1 April. On April 1, the problems of commemorating LEU and its scientists were discussed.
– On 8 June. The situation in the education system was discussed. The ideas of the National School were recalled. The problems of the LERA conference were discussed.
– On 30 July, the academician habil. dr. prof. Algirdas Gaižutis. His conversation with LERA members was filmed. A video documentary was prepared.
– 5 October Event to commemorate International Teachers’ Day and to celebrate the memory of eminent educationists.
– 24 October: honouring prof. habil. Dr Marija Barkauskaitė.
4. Information about the activities of LEU Alumni and LERA Seniors was submitted to the international portal Reaseach Gate.
5. Publications of prof. dr. Antanas Kiveris in Reaseach Gate. Active cooperation with the University of the Third Age.
6. Prof. habil. dr. Irena Leliūgienė:
– Public lectures to the public (various societies, associations) “Walking through the Interwar Lithuanian University” to mark the 100th anniversary of VMU. Portraits of eminent scholars of the University of Lithuania.
– The following activities were held on 13 October. LERA conference plenary presentation “Expression of Values and Ideals in Inaugural and Other Public Speeches of Interwar Lithuanian Rectors During Military Conflicts and Political Turbulence in Lithuania”.
– Participated in the working group of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania “Promoting Democracy and Community Spirit in Local Communities”. In a conference held at the Seimas (via distance learning), she presented an announcement “Prospects for the Reconstruction of the Concept of the School as an Institution Open to the Environment (1990) in the Present-Day Social Environment”.
– Together with K. Vilkauskas, a member of the Seimas, she prepared recommendations for various ministries, including the Ministry of Education.
– As a member of LERA, she participated in the event of the end of the scientific career of prof. Palmyra Jucevičienė, the first LERA President, at KTU in December last year.
Prof. dr. (habil. prof. ) Rita Aleknaitė-Bieliauskienė:
– Regularly cooperates with the Lithuanian Academy of Arts, presenting the work of professors. She actively cooperates with the University of the Third Age.
– 79 articles in the cultural press.
7. Rita Alekieliauskas. Video documentary on prof. Algirdas Gaižutis.
– Video documentary, film about the music education project “Music Without Borders in Čiurlionis Land”.
– Publications on Reaseach Gate portal. 275 figures, 6 citations.
