Educational Forum "Physical Education as a Basis for Personal and Social Well-Being: What does Research Show?"

The 5th Educational Forum  “Physical Education as a Basis for Personal and Social Well-Being: What does Research Show?”  took place on the 30rd of April in 2021. Attended over 100 participants. The welcome speech was given by dr. Linas Obcarskas ( Vice-minister  of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania), prof. dr. Diana Rėklaitienė (Rector of Lithuanian Sports University). The report “Physical Education as a Foundation for the Welfare of the Individual and Society: What Does Research Show?” was read by prof. dr. Arūnas Emeljanovas (Lithuanian Sports University Professor of the Department of Physical and Social Education, Member of the Board of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association).  In the discussion participated: Daina Gudzinevičiūtė (President of the Lithuanian National Olympic Committee),prof. dr. Natalja Fatkulina (Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University), dr. Laima Trinkūnienė (President of the Lithuanian Association of Physical Education Teachers),Vytuolis Valūnas (Head of the Education and Sports Department of Alytus City Municipality Administration), Audronė Vizbarienė (President of the Republican Association of Preschool Physical Education Teachers). The closing speech was given by  prof.dr. Liudmila Rupšienė (President of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association),prof. dr. Loreta Žadeikaitė (Chief Adviser of the Science, Studies and Technology Department of the Ministry of Education and Science). The forum was moderated by dr. Brigita Miežienė (Associate Professor, Department of Physical and Social Education, Lithuanian University of Sports, Member of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association), Rolandas Zuoza (Head of the Sports Group of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, researcher at the Institute of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Vilnius University).  The organizers of the Education Forum: Lithuanian Education Research Association and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania.

Educational Forum "Quality of Education for All, Lifelong UNESCO Vision: Are we Approaching or Moving Away from it?"

The Educational Forum “A UNESCO Vision for Quality of Education for All, Lifelong Learning UNESCO Vision : Approaching or Moving Away from It?”  took place on 25 th of March in 2021. This forum was attended by over 150 participants.  The welcome speech was given by prof.dr. Lina Kaminskienė (Chancellor of the Academy of Education of Vytautas Magnus University). The  announcements were given by the researchers of the Academy of Education  of Vytautas Magnus University doc. dr. Ramutė Bruzgelevičienė, doc. dr. Agnė Brandišauskienė, doc. dr. Jūratė Česnavičienė, dr. Rasa Nedzinskaitė-Mačiūnienė. In the discussion participated Vaidas Bacys (Director of Dubysa Aukstupio School), Virginija Būdienė (Director of Vilnius Institute of Political Analysis, Associate Professor of Partnership, VU Faculty of Philosophy), dr. Agnė Kudarauskienė  (Vice -Minister of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania), Elena Leontjeva (President of the Lithuanian Free Market Institute, Chairwoman of the Council) prof. dr. Laimutė Žalimienė, (Professor, Institute of Sociology and Social Work, Faculty of Philosophy, Vilnius University). The closing speech was given by prof. dr. Educational Forum to discuss the results of research 2020 conducted in the field of education to deal with the consequences of COVID-19

The Education Forum for 2020  to discuss the results of studies conducted in the field of education to address the implications of COVID-19 took place  on the  25 th of February in 2021. This forum was attended by over 200 participants. The welcome speech was given by Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania dr. Ramūnas Skaudžius and Chairman of the Lithuanian Science Council prof. Romas Baronas. There were presented reports of research  in the field of education on the consequences of COVID-19: Distance education during pandemics and other crisis situations (VMU);
Distance education of children during the COVID-19 pandemic: threats and opportunities from an ecosystem perspective (VU);
Distance working and training process organization model and recommendations for extreme and transition period (KTU, VGTU, VU).The closing speech was given by the prof. dr. Liudmila Rupšienė (President of LERA),  and prof. dr. Loreta Žadeikaitė (Chief Adviser of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania).

The Educational forum is dedicated to prof. Leonas Jovaiša to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth

The Educational Forum on the topic “Towards Research-Based Education and Training” took place on the 28th of January in 2021, in order to  commemorate  the 100 anniversary of the birth of prof. Leonas Jovaiša. Over 150 people took part in this forum and today the recorder on youtube has been viewed 185 times.

The welcome speech was given by dr. Jurgita Šiugždinienė (Minister of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania), prof.dr. Rimvydas Petrauskas (Rector of Vilnius University), Academician Eugenijus Jovaiša (Member of the Parlament of the Republic of Lithuania).

The discussion was attended by: prof. habilitated. dr. Palmira Jucevičienė, doc. dr.Birutė Pociutė, doc. dr. Giedrė Purvaneckienė, dr. Vilius Šadauskas, doc. dr. Diana Šileikaitė-Kaishauri, prof. habilitated. dr. Rimantas Želvys. The closing speech was given by prof. dr. Liudmila Rupšienė (President of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association).

The discussion was managed by  prof. dr. Lilija Duoblienė (Head of the Department of Educational Theory and Culture, Vilnius University, Member of the Board of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association). The forum was moderated by assoc. dr. Rita Dukynaitė and doc. dr. Irena Stonkuvienė.
