We invite representatives of educational sciences, researchers, doctoral students, representatives of general education and higher education institutions, education and science policy, all those who are interested in changes in artistic and cultural education, quality of educational research, use of results for decision-making and improvement of educational practice.
Rūta Girdzijauskienė is a Professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, Chief Researcher at Klaipėda University, President of the Lithuanian Music Teachers Association, Member of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association Art Education Network, Board of the European Association of Higher Music Schools (EAS) and European Music Teachers and Young Children Researchers Network ( EuNET MERYC). Her list of publications includes two monographs, more than a hundred scientific and practice-based articles. Research interests include the development of creativity, research methodology, art education didactics and teacher training.
Rūta Girdzijauskienė is a co-author of Lithuanian music education programs and music textbooks, a member of the creative group of updated general education programs. She has been a high school teacher and children’s choir leader for many years. She leads over 10 seminars for teachers and school communities each year, actively participates in national and foreign conferences, trainings and workshops, and conducts open lessons for teachers and the entire educational community.
