The Educational forum ,,Strengthening Educational Research in Lithuania: Intersections of National and International Contexts”  was held on the 22th of June. .The introduction was given by Ramūnas Skaudžius (Vice- Minister of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania). The keynote  „Strengthening Educational Research in Lithuania: Intersections of National and International Contexts”  was presented by prof. Audra Skukauskaitė (Professor at the University of Central Florida (USA)). In the discussion participated Aušra Grybauskienė (Chief Specialist of the Science Department of Studies, Science and Technology in the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports), prof. Palmira Jucevičienė (Professor of Kaunas University of Technology, Member of the Board of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association), prof. Liudvika Leišytė (Professor at the University of Technology in Dortmund (Germany), Visiting Professor at the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente (Netherlands), Member of the Board of the German Higher Education and Studies Research Association, Chair of the Futura Scientia Association in Lithuania), assoc. prof. Irena Stonkuvienė (Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Philosophy, Vilnius University, Member of the Education Council, Vice President of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association), dr. Eugenijus Stumbrys (Head of the Science Policy and Analysis Department, LSC), prof. habil. dr. Vilija Targamadzė (Deputy Chairman of the Education and Science Committee of the Parlament of the Republic of Lithuania).  Closing speech was presented by prof. dr. Liudmila Rupšienė (President of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association),prof. dr. Loreta Žadeikaitė (Chief Adviser of the Department of Studies, Science and Technology in Ministry of Education, Science and Sports). The session was moderated by  prof. dr. Rūta Girdzijauskienė (Chief Researcher, Klaipėda University, Professor of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, Member of the Lithuanian Educational Research Association),Ričardas Ališauskas (Head of the Strategic Programs Division of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports). The Educational Forum was organised by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports and the Lithuanian Educational Research Association.
